Rear seat head restraints
The centre seat head restraint can be adjusted
vertically to suit the height of the passenger.
Raise the head restraint as needed. The release
button on the right-hand support must be
pressed to push the head restraint down. See the
illustration!
Tipping the rear seat backrest
Both rear seat backrests can be tipped forward,
together or individually. This makes it easier to
transport long objects.
Fold the rear seat backrests as follows:
• Check first that the head restraint is
folded down.
• Pull the handle in the cargo compartment
as shown in the illustration.
• Fold the backrest forward.
WARNING
Always secure the load. During heavy
braking the load may otherwise shift,
causing personal injury. Cover sharp edges
with something soft. Turn off the engine and
apply the parking brake when loading or
unloading long objects! You may acciden-
tally knock the gear lever or gear selector
with the load and cause a gear to engage and
the car to move off.
