Use the button to engage or disengage the
winter program .
The winter program makes it easier to drive at
low speeds in slippery road conditions. When
the program is engaged, the driving wheels
utilise less power than normal and all upshifting
occurs at a lower engine rpm.

instrument panel.

you have selected one of the manual positions –

as full acceleration – a lower gear is automati-
cally engaged. This is called "kick-down"
downshifting. When you reach the maximum
speed for the gear or release the accelerator

automatic upshift. Use "kick-down" when you
want maximum acceleration, such as when
overtaking.
