Halftoning
Use the Halftoning settings to achieve the results described
below.
Select No Halftoning when printing text only. Although
this setting provides faster printing, it should never be
used with color.
Select Error Diffusion to make edges and colors softer when
printing photographic images. Error diffusion blends every
colored dot in your image with the surrounding colored
dots.
Dithering arranges dots in orderly patterns and is best
suited for printing charts, graphs, and other images that
require precise, solid areas of bright colors. Select Coarse
Dithering for images with limited detail and shading.
Select Fine Dithering for images with significant detail but
limited shading.
Flip Horizontal
This feature flips the image 180° along its vertical axis. Printed
images and text appear backwards.
