The StoreOnce CLI

The StoreOnce Command Line Interface (CLI) provides an alternative way of administering and
monitoring the system. Some tasks can only be carried out from the StoreOnce CLI.
StoreOnce CLI commands require an SSH client application (freely available from the internet) and
must be run from a SSH terminal session:
ssh <username>@<ip_address>
Two users are created at installation: Admin and Operator. Users with an Admin login can create
additional users after installation. See
See the StoreOnce CLI Reference Guide for more information about the StoreOnce CLI commands.

Licensing

There is single All-in-One License that supports StoreOnce Catalyst, Replication and Write. At
deployment an Instant-On All-in-One feature license is automatically applied that is valid for 60
days. This license should be converted to a full, perpetual license before it expires.
At the end of the 60-day period, your data is still secure on the HP StoreOnce VSA, but its status
is changed to read-only until you add and apply the full license. The Read-Write status is restored
as soon as the full license is applied, even if this is after the 60-day period. There are no time
constraints on when the full, permanent license may be applied.
See the HP StoreOnce VSA Deployment and Configuration guide for detailed information on how
to obtain and apply a full license.
