Removal
1. Prepare the printer for maintenance (page 313).
2. Remove the operator panel (page 347).
3. Remove the #2 Phillips screw in the lower left front corner of the top cover and the screw just to the right of the operator
panel bracket. (See Figure 38, page 398, item 14.)
4. Loosen (do not remove) the two #2 Phillips hold-down screws on the rear of the printer. (See Figure 38, page 398, item 8.)
5. Lift the top cover assembly off the printer base.
Installation
1. To install the top cover assembly, reverse steps 2 through 5 of the removal procedure.
2. Return the printer to normal operation (page 314).
