CHANGING NAVIGATION ANGLE SETTING

1) From the Home Screen on the Touchscreen Controller, touch Utilities >
Setup > Avionics Settings.
2) Touch the Units Tab.
3) Touch the Nav Angle Data Field.
4) Touch the desired setting (Magnetic or True).

ENABLE/DISABLE OBS MODE WHILE NAVIGATING WITH FMS

1) Press the OBS Softkey on the PFD to select OBS Mode.
2) Turn the CRS Knob on the AFCS Controller to select the desired course to/
from the waypoint. Press the CRS Knob to synchronize the Selected Course
with the bearing to the next waypoint.
3) Press the OBS Softkey again to return to automatic waypoint sequencing.

ADJUSTING SELECTED HEADING

Turn the HDG Knob on the AFCS Controller to set the selected heading.
Press the HDG Knob to synchronize the bug to the current heading.

ADJUSTING SELECTED COURSE

Turn the CRS Knob on the AFCS Controller to set the Selected Course.
Press the CRS Knob to re-center the CDI and return the course pointer to
the bearing of the active waypoint or navigation station (see OBS Mode for
adjusting an FMS course).

SELECTING BEARING DISPLAY AND CHANGING SOURCES

1) Press the PFD Settings Softkey on the PFD.
2) Press a bearing softkey (Bearing 1 or Bearing 2) to display the desired
bearing pointer and information window with a NAV source.
3) Press the bearing softkey again to change the bearing source to FMS.
4) To remove the bearing pointer and information window, press the bearing
softkey again.
