4.2.2 Console Port Speed

You can change the speed of the console port through Menu 24.2.2 – Change Console Port Speed. Your
Prestige supports 9600, 19200, 38400 and 57600 bps for the console port. Use the [SPACE BAR] to select
the desired speed in menu 24.2.2, as shown next.

Log and Trace

Error logs trace records that are stored locally.

4.3.1 Viewing Error Log

The error/trace log records problems with your Prestige. Follow the procedure below to view the local
error/trace log:
Step 1.
Type 24 from the main menu to display Menu 24 - System Maintenance.
Step 2.
From menu 24, type 3 to open Menu 24.3 - System Maintenance - Log and Trace shown next.

Displays the system name of your Prestige. This information can be changed in
Menu 1 – General Setup.
Refers to the version of the ZyNOS Network Operating System firmware.
