DSC OPERATION

■ Position and Time programming

A Dstress call should nclude the shp's poston and tme
data. If no GPS s connected, your poston and UTC (Un-
versal Tme Coordnated) tme should be nput manually.
They are ncluded automatcally when a GPS recever
(NMEA0183 ver. 2.0 or 3.01) s connected.
• Ths manual programmng s not avalable when a GPS
recever (NMEA0183 ver. 2.0 or 3.01) s connected.
• Manually programmed poston/tme data wll be held for
23.5 hours only.
q Enter "Position Input" n DSC menu.

w Edt your poston (lattude and longtude) data drectly
wth the keypad.
• Push [6• ] to edt N; North lattude or [7•

S; South lattude.
• Push [3• ] to edt E; East longtude or [9•

W; West longtude.
• Rotate [SELECTOR] to move the cursor backward or forward.
• Push [CE] to clear the poston data.
• Push [CLR] to cancel and ext the condton.

edt the current UTC tme wth the keypad.
• Rotate [SELECTOR] to move the cursor backward or forward.
• Push [CE] to clear the tme.
• Push [CLR] to cancel and ext the condton.
