CONNECTIONS AND MAINTENANCE

q ANTENNA CONNECTOR
Connects a marne VHF antenna wth a PL-259 connec-
tor to the transcever.
CAUTION: Transmttng wthout an antenna wll dam-
age the transcever.
w MICROPHONE CONNECTOR
Connect the suppled mcrophone only.
CAUTION: NEVER connect other mcrophones here,
such as the optonal HM-157/HM-162, for they may
cause damage to the transcever.
e HAILER/FOGHORN CONNECTOR
Connects a haler speaker (30 W nomnal at 13.8 V/ 4 Ω).

CAUTION: NEVER connect other mcrophone here,
such as the HM-134, may cause damage to the trans-
cever.

tons.
• An NMEA0183 ver. 2.0 or 3.01 (sentence formatters RMC,
GGA, GNS, GLL) compatble GPS recever s requred. Ask
your dealer about sutable GPS recevers.
