MAINTENANCE
INSTRUCTIONS
ENGINE COOLING SYSTEM
The engine coolingsystemconsists of an engine shroud
and engine fins.These shouldbe kept clean and free of
debris as needed or clean at least every 100 operating
houm.
The batteryshouldbe servicedevery25 hours of opera-
tion.
Raise operator'sseat.
Remove the two adjustingknobs.
Remove seat assemblyand moveforward.Use care not
to disconnectwires from seat switch.See Figure33.
Remove negative(-) cable first.
Remove positive(+) cable.
REMOVE ADJUSTING

CHECKING BATTERY ELECTROLYTE
Carefully remove battery cell covers.
Visually check electrolyte level in each cell. Level shouldbe
1/8" to 3/8" above cell plates up to the fill rings.
