MAINTENANCE INSTRUCTIONS
TRACTOR SERVICE
ENGINE COOLING SYSTEM
The engine cooling system consists of an engine shroud
and engine fins. These should be kept clean and free of
debris as needed or clean at least every 100 operating
hours.
BATTERY SERVICE
The battery should be serviced every 25 hours of opera¬
tion.
Raise operator's seat.
Remove the two adjusting knobs.
Remove seat assembly and move forward. Use care not
to disconnect wires from seat switch. See Figure 33.
Remove negative (-) cable first.
Remove positive (+) cable.
CHECKING BA TTERY ELECTROL YTE
Carefully remove battery cell covers.
Visually check electrolyte level in each cell. Level should be
1/8" to 3/8" above cell plates up to the fill rings.
