Troubleshooting Guide
Before requesting service for this unit, check the chart below for a
possible cause of the problem you are expedancing. Soma simple
checks or a minor adjustment on your part may eliminate the
problem and restore proper operation.
If you are in doubt about some of the check points, or if the remedies
indicated in the chart do not solve the pro_em, refer to the directory
of Authorized Service Center (enclosed with this unit) to locate a
convenient service center.

Due to the differences between monaural and
stereo signals, a higher level of signal strength is
required for proper stereo reception. If the signal
level is low, a hissing noise may be produced on the
stereo chatlnel.

Broadcast signals are being disturbed by nearby
automobile traffic or airplanes.
Such noise is celled ignition noise, and occurs while
an automobile engine is running.
