Using Quick Program
Quick Program
is an exclusive
Mitsubishi
feature
that simplifies
the process of programming
your VCR to record. When you press
the QUICK PROGRAI_I!VCR
Plus+ button
on the remote
control,
you will immediately
see the VCR Plus+ "ProlFam
to record"
menu and can begin programming
right away.
You can use this feature
even when the VCR :is stopped,
playing,
recording,
fast forwarding,
rewinding,
or off. However,
the
QUICK PROGRAM/VCR
Plu_+ button
does n_t function
during
One Key Programming.
To use quick program:
O
Press the QUICK
PROGRAM/VCR
Plus+ button
on the
remote control.
If the VCR is off, it will tu:rn on. After tuning
your TV to the correct channel
or input, you will see the
VCR Plus+ "Program
to record" screen.
If the VCR's memory
is full, you will see the recap screen
(left) instead
of the VCR Plus+ "Program
to record" screen.
You will need to use the C._NCEL
button
'_oerase
an entry
before you can add another
one.

Complete
programming
as described
in "Programming
your
VCR to record," or "Programming
with the VCR Plus+ sys-
tem." When you are finished,
press the QUICK PROGRAM/
VCR Plus+ button
again. If the VCR is stopped,
it will turn
off
and be ready to record your program
at a later time. If 1;he
VCR is playing,
recording,
fast forwarding
or rewinding,
the
menus
will turn off, but the VCR power will remain
on.
When you are finished
with all programming,
be sure the
VCR power is OFF and the programmed
recording
light is lit.
However,
if you have a cable box or a PRIMESTAR
® receiver,
leave it turned
ON. Additionally,
if the HS-U270
does not
control your cable box, leave the box tuned to the station
you
wish to record.
If you press the QUICK PROGRAM/VCR
Plus+ button,
but the
clock is not set, you will see the "Set the clock" menu.
Notes aboutprogrammedrecording
You cannot
use the VCR when the programmed
recording
light is
lit. If you want to use the VCR before programmed
recordinlg
begins, press the POWER
button
on the remote once. This turns
the programmed
recording
light off and the VCR on.
If you use the POWER
button
on the front p_.ne.l for this purpose,
you will have to press
it twice. Pressing
it once turns off the
programmed
recording
light; pressing
it a second time turns the
VCR on.
