If the number
does not appear
in the left column
of your list,
press the ADJUJST buttons
to move the cursor
to the next
number.
If you find the number
in the left colui:m of your list, press
the ADJUST
buttons
to place the cu_sor next to a VCR Plus+
guide number
for the clhannel. For example,
if you want to set
NBC, and if the VCR Plus+ guide charmel
number
ibr NBC is
"2," move the cursor
next to "2." You may have to cycle
through
a number
of"screens"
before the higher
number
guide channels
are displayed
on the sc:__een.
Use the number
buttons
to enter the actual
VCR channel
on
which you receive the station.
For example,
if your VCR
receives
NBC on channel
23, enter the number
"23" next to
the VCR Plus+ guide channel
for NBC.
• For DSS ®channels
simply enter the three digit number.
(The letter
"S" will display
next to the channel
number.)
• If you are using a PRIMESTAR
®receiver,
press the INPUT
button
and then pre,;s the number
buttons
to select
PRIMESTAR
channels.
(The letter
"S" will display
next to
the channel
number.)
• If you are using a cable box that the VCR cannot
control,
enter the channel
on which your cable box sends signals
to
your VCR (usually
channel
3 or 4).
Repeat
steps above for all numbers
in the left column of the
VCR menu. If the numbers
in the lef_ _nd right columns
of
your chart are the same (indicated
by _ check mark), leave
them the same in the VCR menu.
When you are finished,
press the MENU button
three
times
to exit the menus. Your VCR can now use the PlusCode
numbers
in your local listings
to record shows from an an-
tenna,
a cable system,
or a satellite
receiver.
