On the HS-U270
remote
control, set t:he TV/VCR slide switch
to TV position.

While holding
in the POWER
button,
press the code button
listed
to the left that corresponds
to the brand
of your TV.

Once your TV has turned
on, your reraote
is set up to operate
your brand
of TV.
You do not need to perform
this set-up again unless
you change
the batteries,
set up your remote
for anot:her brand
of television,
or you get a new TV.
Once you have correctly
set your remote
control
to operate
your
TV, you will be able to use the POWER,
CHANNEL,
VOLUME,
MUTE and number
buttons
to operate
your TV.
Depending
on the model TV you have, all o1' some of the buttons
may not function,
or they may operate
different
features
than
indicated
above. You may need to use the TV's remote
control.
Sometimes
manufacturers
will change
the remote
control
codes
for their products,
or they will use more th_n one code. If this is
the case, your remote
may not be able to control your TV.
When you replace
the batteries
in your remote,
the remote will
return
to its initial
setting
(code button
":["). Repeat
the ..steps
above to reset your remote controh
If you enter a new code, the
previous
code will be erased.

the remote sensor
on the TV
and press the desired
buttons.

the VCR, set the TV/VCR slide, switch to
VCR position.

may not
work, or they may operate
different
functions
than
listed above,
for your particular
TV. If this occurs, you may need to u,;e your
TV remote control.
