[] Main Power Switch: Pressthis button to
apply power to the AVR110. When the switch
is pressedin, the unit is placedin a Standby
mode,as indicatedby the amberPower
Indicator [] surroundingthe System
Power Control I_.1. T his button MUSTbe
pressedin to operatethe unit. To turn the unit
off and prevent the use of the remote control,
this switch should be presseduntil it pops out
from the front panel so that the word "OFF"
may be read at the top of the switch.
NOTE:Thisswitchis normallyleft in the "ON"
position.
[] System Power Control: Whenthe Main
Power Switch []
is "ON," pressthis button
to turn on the AVR110; pressit againto turn
the unit off. Notethat the Power Indicator
surroundingthe switch[] witt turn green
when the unit is on.
[] Power Indicator: This LEDwitl be illumi-
nated in amberwhen the unit is in the Standby
modeto signal that the unit is readyto be
turned on.When the unit is in operation,the
indicatorwilt turn green.
[] HeadphoneJack:Thisjackmaybe usedto
listento theAVR110'soutputthrough a pair of
headphones. Becertainthat the headphones
havea standard1/4" stereophoneplug. Note
that the mainroomspeakers wilt automatically
be turnedoff when the headphone j ack is in use.
[] Selector Buttons:Whenyou areestablish-
ingthe AVR11O'sconfiguration settings, u se
thesebuttonsto selectflorathe choicesavailable,
asshownin the Main Information Display[].
[] Tone Mode: Pressing this button enables
or disablesthe BassandTreble tone controls.
Whenthe button is pressedsothat the words
TONEIN appearin the Main Information
Display [], the settingsof the Bass []
and
Treble []
controlsmay be usedto adjustthe
output signals.Whenthe button is pressedso
that the wolds TONE OUTappearin the Main
Information Display [], the output signal
will be "flat," without any bassor treble alter-
ation, no matterhow the actualBass and
Treble controls;'_[]
are adjusted.
