REMOVING THE POWER PLANT

Read through the section PRECAUTIONS AND
GENERAL INFORMATION.
Remove the side fairings as directed in the paragraph
REMOVING THE SIDE FAIRINGS.
Unscrew pedal crank (1), paying attention to the
direction of the thread.
Loosen and remove the two screws (2).
Loosen screw (3) without removing it.
Rotate chain guard (4) backwards and then remove it.
Levering derailleur (5) as shown in the figure, remove
chain (6) from the sprocket.
Loosen and remove controller screw (7).
WARNING
Turn the power switch to the ON position in order
to discharge the capacitors in the circuit and
avoid small residual discharges.
Detach electrical connector (8).
Loosen and remove screws (9).
Remove electric motor feeder cables (10) and (11).
