REMOVING THE FUNCTION SWITCH

Read through the section PRECAUTIONS AND
GENERAL INFORMATION.
Put the vehicle on the stand.
Remove the battery as described in the paragraph
REMOVING THE BATTERY.
Remove the side fairings as directed in the paragraph
REMOVING THE SIDE FAIRINGS.
Detach three-way electrical connector (1).
Loosen and remove the two fixing screws (2) so as to
disengage the two half shells (3).
Release the related cable from the clamps and finally
remove the function switch.

CHECKING THE FUNCTION SWITCH

Using a multimeter, check the continuity of the wires with the switch set to different positions.
