For best recharging results, allow the battery to cool down for about an hour (during use its normal tem-
perature can be 50° C) and then start the recharge in a cool place (room temperature ~ 25° C).

SAFETY SPECIFICATIONS

The battery charger is equipped with five safety devices:
1.
Delta-T stop switch - Stops the recharge when the battery temperature undergoes a certain increase
(denoting 100% charge).
2.
Delta-V stop switch - Stops the recharge when the battery voltage undergoes a certain decrease (denoting
100% charge).
3.
T-max stop switch - Stops the recharge when the battery temperature reaches 55° C (denoting 100%
charge).
4.
Thermal switch - Stops the recharge when the battery temperature reaches 75° C (emergency only).
5.
Timer - Stops the recharge after 6 hours.

BATTERY CHARGER PROTECTION

Do not short-circuit the battery charger output.
Use the battery charger in a well-ventilated place.
Only use NiMh (Nickel Metal Hydride) batteries (1.2 V, 20 units, 13,000 mAh).
Ensure that the alternating current input is active and set the proper voltage on the battery charger.
After completely recharging the battery, avoid connecting it to the charger again so as prevent overcharging.
Operate the battery charger at room temperatures below 30° C.
