Interval Timer Photography
Pictures are taken automatically at specified intervals.
Choose an interval of 30 s, 1 min, 5 min, or 10 min.
1 Tap
Intvl timer shooting in the Continuous
menu.

Tap the desired interval between shots.
The maximum number of pictures varies according to the
specified interval.
30 s: up to 600 pictures
__ 1 rain: up to 300 pictures
oo 5 min: up to 60 pictures
_m 10 min: up to 30 pictures
3 Tap i'lltoexit t hemenu.
The camera returns to shooting mode.
_ 4 Presstheshutter-releasebuttonalltheway
g' down to take the first picture and initiate
interval timer shooting.
Monitor turns off and power-on lamp blinks between shots.

The monitor turns on automatically right before the next
shot is taken. _ _ i_i
5 Press the shutter-release button all the way down again to end
recording.
Recording will end automatically if the internal memory or memory card becomes full,
or when the maximum number of pictures have been taken.
_1_ Notes on Power Source
• To prevent the camera from turning off unexpectedly during recording, use a fully charged
battery.
• if the AC Adapter EH 62D (available separately) is used, COOLPIX$230 can be powered from a
home electrical outlet. Do not use any other AC adapters as it will cause the camera to heat up or
malfunction.
