On-screen Setup
With the AV receiver connected to a TV, there are two
ways of changing the settings on-screen: using the Quick
Setup or the Setup Menu (HOME).
m Quick Setup
The Quick Setup provides quick access to frequently used
settings. You can change settings and view the current
information.
m Setup menu (HOME)
The Setup menu (HOME) provides a convenient way to
change the AV receiver's various settings. Settings are
organized into 11 categories.
• The on-screen menus are displayed when:
- There is no video input, o1"
-The video input is 480p, 576p, 720p, 1080i, o1"1080p.

Press RECEIVER followed by Q SETUP.
The Quick Setup will be superimposed on the TV
screen.
Use l/¥ and ENTER to make the desired selection.
Press O SETUP to close the menu.
Press RETURN to return to the previous menu.

Advanced Operations
m Input
You can select input sources and view information on
their assignments.
Use l/¥ to select an input source and view its
assignment information.
Pressing ENTER switches to the selected input
source.
i Audio (3 page 42)
You can change the following settings: "Bass",
"Treble", "Subwoofer Level", "Center Level",
"Audyssey", "Dynamic EQ", "Dynamic Volume",
"Late Night", "Music Optimizer", and "Cinema
Filter".
m InformatioW*
You can view the information of the following items:
"Input" and "Output".
m Listening Mode_2
You can select the listening modes that are grouped in
the following categories: "MOVIE/TV", "MUSIC",
"GAME".
Use ill to select the category and <1_ to select the
listening mode. Press ENTER to switch to the
selected listening mode.

Depending on the input source and listening mode, not all
channels shown here output the sound.
• This setting is not available in either of the following cases:
- The "Audio TV Out" setting is set to "On" (3 page 52).
- "HDMI Ctrl (RIHD)" is set to "On" (3 page 52) and
you're listening through your TV speakers.
