Cleaning and Maintaining Your TV
With proper care, your TV unit will give you many years of sei_Tice. Please follow these
guidelines to get the maximum t_ei'fbi'mance fl'om your TV:
Placement
•
Do not place the TV near extiemely hot, coM, humid or dusty places.
• Do not place the TV near appliances with electric motors that cieate magnetic fields,
such as

cleaners.
• Keep the ventilation openings clear; do not place the TV on a soft surface, such as
cloth or paper.
• Place the TV in a vertical position only
Liquids
• Do not handle licllrids near or on the TV7Liql rids that spill into it can c'mlse sei'iolls
damage.
Cabinet
•
Never open the cabinet oi"tOllch the parts insMe.
• Wipe your TV with a clean, dry cloth. Never use water, cleaning fluids, wax, or
chemicals.
• Do not put heavy olqjects on top of the cabinet.
Temperature
•
If
your TV is suddenly moved fi'om a coM to a wam_ place, unt_lug the power c'oIvt,
and allow at least two hours fbr moisture that may have fbm_ed inside the unit to dry
completely
Using Your TV in Another Country
If
you plan to take your TV with you to a fbreign country, please be aware of the different
television systems that are in use around the world. A
TV
designed fbr one system may
not work t_i'ot_ei'ly with another system due to diffbi'ences in the TV channel frequencies.
