Viewing Interface Information

You can use show commands to view interface status and auto-configured parameters.
The
show interfaces
to display the interface status, IP and MAC addresses, and multiple counters for the amount and type of
traffic passing through the interface. If a port channel interface is configured, the
can list the interfaces configured in the port channel.
Note: To end output from the system, such as the output from the
CTRL+C and FTOS returns to the command prompt.
Note: The command line interface (CLI) output may be incorrectly displayed as 0 (zero) for the Rx/Tx
power values. Perform an simple network management protocol (SNMP) query to obtain the correct
power information.
Figure 10-1 shows the configuration and status information for one interface.
