4.2.17 Front Cover Removal

1. Remove the Top Cover. (See Section 4.2.11.)
2. Take out the MP Cassette.
3. Open the vertical transport door and remove one screw (3501)
securing the Front Cover to the printer frame.
4. Remove two screws securing the Front Cover to the printer frame.
5. Release the hook securing the Front Cover to the Paper Eject
Cover.
6. Remove the Front Cover by opening it from the right side.

4.2.18 Control Panel Removal

1. Remove the Top Cover. (See Section 4.2.11.)
2. Remove the Front Cover. (See Section 4.2.17.)
3. Disconnect the control panel harness connecting to the Main Circuit
Board from the CN3. (See Section 4.2.13.)
4. Remove the shield cable for the control panel harness from the
Main Circuit Board Mounting Plate.
5. Release the control panel harness from the cable clump.
6. Remove two screws (1308) securing the Control Panel to the printer
frame and remove the Control panel.
