Options Description

None Specifies the IDE configuration mode for IDE devices.

User User allows the cylinders, heads, and sectors fields to

be changed.
Auto (default)

Auto automatically fills in the values for the cylinders,
CD-ROM

heads, and sectors fields.
ATAPI Removable

Other ATAPI

IDE Removable

Disabled Enables or disables the LBA mode control.

Enabled (default)

Disabled Specifies number of sectors to be transferred in a single

interrupt.

Check the hard disk drive's specifications for optimum

Auto (default) Specifies the PIO mode.
