4. Guidelines for Operation

4.1. Client Connection to the Server

Call information is accumulated in Server even when no Client is connected to the Server. When a Client connects
to the Server, the Client will receive all call information not previously received from the Server. After the Client has
downloaded the call information, its startup process will be completed, and the Client application will be ready for
use. For this reason, in the following cases, it will take a long time to start the Client because there will be a lot of call
information that Client has to download.

When Client has not connected to Server for long time.

When the large amount of calls is on PBX even though it has not been so long time since Client
connected to Server last time.
To make Client start faster, it is highly recommended that Client connects to the Server often, or the Client maintains
a connection to the Server during high-call times.

4.2. Database Backup

It is necessary to obtain database backup of both of Client and Server at the same time. Then when you restore the
Backup Database, you need to restore both backup files at the same time.

4.2.1. Client Database Backup

A backup is useful for the following cases;

Client HDD crash and he wants to restore settings on a new machine.

A Client wants to transfer their settings to a different Client.

Copy data in the database from one PC to another PC. By doing this, long startup time can be avoided.

4.2.2. Server Database Backup

A backup of the server settings is performed. If the server crashes, it is possible to recover the server settings using
this backup.
