Configuring System Video and
Audio settings
The A/V Setup menu allows you to
configure the system's video output
settings, and system volume.
To adjust the system's audio output
volume:

From the Advance menu, click A/V Setup.

Click the Volume button.

16 channel A/V menu.

Drag the audio slider to adjust the output
volume of the system. The greater the
number, the higher the volume.

Right-click to exit the menu.

Click Apply to save your settings.
Configuring Video Output Settings:

From the Advance menu, click A/V Setup.

Configure the following:
• Video System: Select PAL or NTSC.
• Video Output (16 ch. only): Select the port
the video will output from. Select from the
MAIN-OUT port or the SPOT OUT port.
• View Setup (16 ch. only): For details, see
"Appendix M: Assigning camera channels
(16 Ch. only)" on page 120.
• Init. DEV (16 ch. only): Select the output
device that the mouse cursor appears on.
Select from V OUT for the mouse cursor to
appear in the BNC Output, VGA for the
mouse cursor to appear in VGA output.
• VGA Resolution: Select the VGA output
resolution. By default, the resolution is set
to 1024 x 768.
• You may change the VGA output
resolution to the following:
800 x 600,1024 x 768, 1280 x 1024,
1440 x 900
• Output Device:
• Select VGA if you are using a VGA
monitor (default) to connect to the
system (4/8 channel only).
• Select V OUT to output video from the
system's Video Out port (4/8 channel
only).
• SEQ Dwell Time: Adjust the Sequence
Dwell time of the DVR. Enter the desired
number of seconds you want the each
channel to display in sequence mode,
before switching to the next channel.
Adding "Privacy Zones" to channels
Defining a privacy zone in the channel
allows you to block out a portion of the
channel with a black box.
To add a privacy zone to a channel:

From the Advance menu, click A/V Setup.

Click Privacy Zone.
