As necessary, modify one or more of the following settings:
Specify a name. For example, you can change iPhone to iPhone_New.
Name
Note: If you try to include a space or a period in the screen name, RoboHelp replaces the space or the charater with an
underscore.
Select a predefined screen profile to populate the screen resolution ranges with predefined values. The Check
Type
for new screen profiles link enables you to access latest screen profiles uploaded on adobe.com.
Set the range of screen resolutions for the screen profile by specifying the minimum and
Screen Resolution
maximum width and height.
Select browsers for the screen profile. RoboHelp provides a list of popular browsers. If you want to add
Browser(s)
to this list, make sure you specify a unique string from the browser agent or user agent of the browser.
Click this to configure the settings for previewing the output with this screen profile. Define the
Preview Settings
dimensions of the window in which the content should be displayed. Select a device image for use in preview and
specify the top-left position of the content window. If the settings look good, click Save.
4
Click Save to save the screen profile properties.
Create a screen profile
In the Project Set-up pod, right-click Screen Profiles and select New Screen Profile.
1
Specify the required settings in the New Screen Profile dialog box.
2
3
Click OK. RoboHelp creates the new screen profile and displays it in the project hierarchy under Screen Profiles.
You can reuse the settings for an existing screen profile to create one. Right-click a screen profile in the project
hierarchy and select Duplicate Screen Profile.
Delete a screen profile
Right-click a screen profile in the Project Set-up pod and select Delete.
1
When prompted, confirm that you want to delete the screen profile.
2
Map styles for screen profiles
If you change the width of a screen profile, the media query for the screen profile defined in the style sheet becomes
undefined. RoboHelp does not automatically update the media query. Follow these steps to map an undefined media
query to a media:
Right-click the CSS file and select Edit.
1
In the Styles dialog box, select Manage Media Queries from the Media list.
2
3
Select the undefined media query that has the width you specified and click Map.
Select the screen profile name.
