Unlink a style sheet from topics or master pages
After you unlink a style sheet from a topic, the style sheet formatting is removed from the topic.

From the Topic List, select one or more topics.
Click the Properties icon

Select None in the list of style sheets, or click the browse button

Click OK.
Create a style sheet
The new style sheet (default.css) is the default until you create a style sheet or link another style sheet to a new topic.

Click the Style Sheet button
Select New.

In Name, type a filename and include the .css extension.

In Folder, select a location.
(Optional) To base your new style sheet on an existing one, select Copy Styles From. Select a style sheet.

Click Create, create new styles, and click OK.

Create a style sheet and topic simultaneously

Select File > New > Topic. Click the Appearance tab.

Click New.
Enter a filename and include the .css extension.

Create or edit predefined styles in the Styles dialog box.

Click OK.
Export a style sheet
Select the Design Editor.

Select Format > Export Styles.

Browse to where you want to export the style sheet.
If necessary, rename the style sheet, keeping the .css filename extension.
Note: This feature is applicable only for styles applied in a topic and not at a project level.
Click Save.

Note: You can export topic-specific embedded styles only.
