8. The default letter for the LaCie 5big Storage Server Data volume
is D (Fig. 77). However, you may choose any free letter for the
volume. Click Next> after you have chosen a letter.

settings is selected and choose the settings below
✦ File System: NTFS
✦ Allocation unit size: Default
✦ Volume label: type Data
✦ LaCie recommends checking Perform a quick format.
Choosing a longer format while configuring large RAID 5 ar-
rays will add a significant amount of time to the resynching
process.
