lists the specifications for the 6000 W AC-input power supply.
Appendix A
Description
2 AC-inputs per power supply. High-line input with
power factor correction (PFC) included.
Power factor correction is a standard feature on
Note
all Catalyst 6500 series AC-input power
supplies. PFC reduces the reactive component
in the source AC current allowing higher power
factors (typically 99 percent or better) and
lower harmonic current components.
100 to 120 VAC, single-phase (low line)
200 to 240 VAC, single-phase (high line)

7.5 kVA
50/60 Hz (nominal) (±3% for full range)
The 6000 W power supply can operate at either
2900 W or 6000 W depending on the number of AC
power cords attached and the source AC voltage:
2900 W maximum with the following source AC
arrangements:
INPUT 1 and INPUT 2 both connected to
110 VAC
INPUT 1 connected to 220 VAC; INPUT 2
not connected
INPUT 1 not connected; INPUT 2 connected
to 220 VAC
INPUT 1 connected to 220 VAC; INPUT 2
connected to 110 VAC
INPUT 1 connected to 110 VAC; INPUT 2
connected to 220 VAC

6000 W maximum
with the following source AC
arrangements:
INPUT 1 and INPUT 2 both connected to
220 VAC
The 6000 W power supply will not power up if
Note
you have only one power cord plugged into
either INPUT 1 or INPUT 2 and source AC is
110 VAC.
