Setting chassis configuration options for the 4/256 Director

The chassisConfig command allows you to display or set the chassis configuration on the 4/256
Director.
The 4/256 Director allows you to use chassis configuration options 1 and 5. Configuration option 1 is
compatible with FC4- 1 6 blades; configuration option 5 is compatible with FC8- 1 6, FC4- 1 6IP, FC4- 1 6,
FC4-32, FR4- 1 8i, FC4-48, FC8-32, and FC8-48 blades.
NOTE: The DC Director does not have separate configuration options, so the chassisConfig
command is not supported on this platform. By default, the DC Director supports 384 ports in a single
Fibre Channel domain.
