Configuring Login Banners

Banners can be defined for each line, such as console and telnet) or for all
lines. They are disabled by default.
The following types of banners can be defined:
Message-of-the-Day Banner (motd) — Displayed when the user connects

to the device, before login. The following defines a message-of-the-day for
the console:
console# configure
console(config)# line console
console(config-line)# motd-banner
console(config-line)# exit
console (config)# banner motd *
