Working with Objects in the Data Protector Express Window

In Data Protector Express, an "object" is anything that can be manipulated. This includes jobs, folders,
users, devices, etc. Each object is stored in the catalog (database) and has a set of properties associated
with it.

Viewing objects

In the object detail area, you can view the objects in several different ways using the Folders icon or the
View menu from the tool bar. When working in the Details view, you can sort the objects by name, size,
type or one of several other settings by clicking the appropriate column heading.

Keyboard shortcuts

Besides using the mouse to work with objects in the main Data Protector Express window, there are
several keyboard shortcuts that will speed up your work.
