To create a new backup job by copying an existing media job
1.
Copy the existing media job you wish to duplicate in one of these ways ...
a. Press the ctrl key as you drag the existing job to a new location, then skip to step 4 below.
b. Select the existing job (with the mouse or keyboard) and press ctrl+c.

Right-click the existing job and selecting Copy from the shortcut menu.
d. Select the existing job and then select Copy from the Edit menu.

Open the folder you want the new job to be stored in by selecting it in the tree view area. (To store
the job in the same folder as the existing job, skip this step.)
3.
Paste the copy of the existing job in one of these ways ...
a. Right-click the folder where you want the new job to be pasted and select Paste from the
shortcut menu or
b. Highlight the folder where you want the new job and then select Paste from the Edit menu or
c.
Highlight the folder where you want the new job and then press ctrl+v.
4.
Change the name of the new job.
NOTE:
Data Protector Express copies all job properties, including job logs, to the new job.

Selecting Media

For media jobs, you need to select the media to be processed.
To select media for media jobs
1.
View the properties of the media job and click on the Selection page.
2.
Check the selection boxes next to the devices and media you want to process.
