Machine Status and Configuration

You can check the machine status and configuration using telnet or UNIX.

Call service center and ask for assistance.
The machine's ADF is open.
The machine's front cover is open.
The machine's lower-right cover is open.
The machine's center-right cover is open.
Toner has run out.
The machine is standing by in Energy Saver
mode.
An Ethernet board error has occurred.
An IEEE 1394 board error has occurred.
Memory switch data is corrupt.
A parallel interface board error has occurred.
A USB interface board error has occurred.
Wireless card is not inserted.
A wireless card or wireless board error has oc-
curred.
An optional font error has occurred.
A DIMM value error has occurred.
Paper tray is in use.
The machine is waiting for key card to be in-
serted.
The machine is waiting for key counter to be
inserted.
Toner has almost run out.
Indicated paper tray does not contain paper of
selected size.
