Scan client records for archival to CD-ROM
Eliminate office clutter

Law offices, medical practices, and other professional services
maintain large volumes of client (or patient) records.
Historically, these records are maintained in paper format for
some period of time, and then eventually stored to microfiche.
Today, many professional offices are moving to scanning and
CD-ROM technologies to store client records.
With Pagis Pro, you can scan each client's records into one or
more XIF documents. Optionally, you can assign Author, Title,
and Keywords to each file for search and retrieval purposes.
Then, using a CD-ROM recorder connected to your PC, you can
save these client records to a CD-ROM. You can index the CD-
ROM, and search on it whenever you need to retrieve client
information.
For more information about these applications, refer to:
"Scanning documents" (Chapter 4)
"Creating and defining an index" (Chapter 4)
"Indexing removable media" (Chapter 4)
With the tools that Pagis Pro provides, it is possible to eliminate
a lot of paper documents that are cluttering up your office.
Even if you do not achieve the goal of a paperless office
completely, you can certainly reduce the amount of paper, and
become more organized in the process.
