The Shell hem Stitch can be used to sew a picot {lace-like) edge on
lightweight fabric .
1. Set the pattern selection dial to the She!! hem Stitch.
2. This stitch requires a tighter thread tension than no_rma!.
3. Place the fabric under the presser foot so that it will be sewn along
the bias with the straight stitches sewn on the seamline and the
zigzag stitches sewn slightly
over
the folded edge.
4. Sew at a slow speed .

Tricotsteek
De tricotsteek woi"dt gebruikt voor het naaien van een dun picotrandje (lijkt
op kantwerk) op dunne stof.
I. Stel de patroonkeuzeknop in op de tricotsteek.
2. Bij deze steek hoort een hogere draadspanning dan normaal.
3. Leg de stof zo onder de persvoet dat de rechte steken op de naad en de
zigzagsteken net iets over de omgevouwen rand vallen .
4. Naai op een Jage snelheid .
