As you use your computer, the information stored on the hard drive changes.
This happens when you save, modify or move documents as well as when you
install, update or uninstall programs. As the information changes, there is a
chance that critical information can become damaged.

McAfee Utilities central window

The McAfee Utilities Central window offers buttons to take you to the four
suites of utilities (Figure 4-1).
If you need help, click the Help icon at the upper right-hand side of the
window to display the McAfee Utilities Central Help.
You can also customize how you want to access these utilities and how you
want them to work on your computer. From the Options drop-down menu,
select Properties to display options (see
Figure 4-1. McAfee Utilities Central window
