Starting Launch Pad

To start Launch Pad, click the Launch Pad icon on your desktop, or choose the
Launch Pad command from the Start > Programs > McAfee Utilities menu. An
empty Launch Pad appears, which is a small window.

Adding, updating, and removing icons

You can add icons to Launch Pad by dragging an application icon, folder or
file from its location on the desktop, Windows Explorer, or My Computer into
Launch Pad. Or you can right-click an empty area in the Launch Pad window
and use the New command to create a new icon.
To remove an icon, Right-click the icon and choose the Remove command
from the Launch Pad menu.

Manipulating the Launch Pad window

You can interactively customize a Launch Pad window by resizing it or its
icons, rearranging icons in Launch Pad by dragging them,
docking/undocking Launch Pad, and having Launch Pad hide until you need
it.
Hiding and showing Launch Pad
You can hide Launch Pad and restore it to your desktop in two different ways.
If you want to use Launch Pad to launch an application and then have Launch
Pad disappear from your desktop, Right-click in the Launch Pad and choose
Hide LaunchPad from the Global menu.
To show Launch Pad, double-click the Launch Pad icon in the taskbar icon
tray. Once you have started an application by double-clicking it, Launch Pad
is hidden again.
The Enable Auto Hide command lets you hide a docked Launch Pad. Once
auto hidden, Launch Pad reappears if you point to the edge of the desktop. It
hides again if you move the pointer away from the edge.
To restore Launch Pad permanently, Right-click and choose the Disable Auto
Hide command from the Global menu.
Docking & undocking Launch Pad
Docking locks Launch Pad to the nearest edge of your desktop, where it will
remain as an uppermost Window (just like your taskbar).
