Interface Specifications

This section describes the parallel interface. (Centronics standard interface/
compliant with IEEE 1284) for the DocuColor 4 LP.
The DocuColor 4 CP uses a mini Centronics cable available from Xerox Cor-
poration. Part # 98S4330
Connector Type
The printer is fitted with an IEEE 1284-B type connector. The connector is
shown in the following diagram.
Pin Arrangement
The arrangement of the signal pins in the connector are as follows. (bi-direc-
tional communications OFF)
