Video input

You can activate the 75 Ohm terminating resistor for each video input on
the VIP X2. The terminating resistance must be deactivated for the video signal
to be looped through. Every video input is closed at the time of delivery.
Note
The numbering follows the labeling of the video inputs on the actual unit.
75 Ohm termination:
Select Off if the video signal is to be looped through.
Source type:
To allow video recorders to be connected as a video source, you can change the
characteristic of the video source from the preset value of Camera to VCR.
Video recorders require a more tolerant setting for the internal PLL as a result of
jitter effects caused by the mechanical components of a video recorder.
Note
In some cases, selecting the VCR option can lead to an improvement in
the video image even with a camera connected.
