If possible, back up your data before performing
an OS restore.
Follow these steps to restore only the operating system
without repartitioning or reformatting the hard drive:
1. Power on or restart the system and immediately insert the
Select Install CD into the CD-ROM drive.
After the system boots from the CD, the Operating
System Restore Welcome screen appears (see the
following figure).
2. Click
