Viewing the Current Port Configuration

The Port Information screen displays the port type, status, link
state, and flow control in use, as well as the communication speed
and duplex mode. To change any of the port settings, use the Port
Configuration menu.

Description
Shows port type as 1000SX: 1000BASE-SX
Shows if the por t is fun ctio ning o r no t.
Indicates if the port has a valid con nection to an
external device.
Shows the flow control type in use. IEEE 802.3x
is used for the Gigabit ports, which are fixed at
1Gbps, full duplex. Flow control can eliminate
frame loss by "blocking" traffic from end stations
connected directly to the switch.
