Selecting the Dolby digital output

You can select the format for your digital audio output If you
have connected an amplifier or receiver to the SPDIF jack on
your TV.
To select the Dolby digital output:
1 Press TiVo. The Home screen opens. Press
Settings, then press or SELECT.

• Dolby Digital (preferred)—Outputs audio in Dolby
Digital format if your amplifier or receiver has a Dolby
Digital decoder.
• Dolby Digital to PCM—Outputs audio in 2-channel
stereo.

If you have connected an amplifier/receiver to the digital audio
(SPDIF) output on the TV, select a compatible format.

Press SELECT to save your setting and return to the previous
menu.
