A.S.E.S. (Auto Synchro Editing System)
1. Set a magazine in the CD player.
® When performing A.S.E.S. operation, load discs
into magazine trays 1 and 2.
2. Load a tape for recording into Deck II.
Since recording always starts from the forward direc-
tion (P}, be sure that the tape is loaded properly.
3. Set the DOLBY NR switch to the desired po-
sition.
4. Select the REV MODE switch.
== : For recording on only one side of a tape.
=> or co : For consecutive recording on both sides
of a tape.
5. Press the ASES buttons (FADE/FINE or DISCO).
6. To stop A.S.E.S. operation, press the stop but-
ton (@) of Deck il. Otherwise press the stop
button {@) of the CD player.

MLINK A.S.E.S. (DISCO, FADE EDIT only)
if extra tape remains after you have campleted your
edit recording session, the CD can be changed and
A.S.E.S. recording continued.
After 1—5
is performed, the A.S.E.S. will be tempora-
rily terminated.
6'.Press the REC PAUSE button { @ &8).
Deck Il will enter the recording standby mode.
The play button's indicator will flash. Recording will
begin in the direction indicated by the flashing.

7. Load another CD.

wound and the cross-fade recording mode will be
selected.
