■ Receiving DSC calls (other)
The transceiver receives the following types of DSC calls.
• Individual call (p. 38)
• Individual Acknowledgment (p. 26)
• Group call / All Ships call (p. 39)
• Position Request call (p. 40)
L The receivable call types may diff er, depending on the transceiver version or presetting.
By default, the Auto ACK function automatically sends an Acknowledgment to the calling
station. ( [MENU] > Settings > DSC > Auto ACK (p. 46))
If Auto ACK is set to "Manual," you can manually send an Acknowledgment for each call
as described in this section.
D Receiving an Individual call
When an Individual call is received:
• An alarm sounds.
• "Received INDV Call" is displayed.

Resend
to resend.
Push to delete the task and returns to the Main screen.
Sends an Acknowledgment without any changes.
Sends an Acknowledgment but cannot communicate.
Able to communicate but proposes another channel.
Specify the channel by pushing [▲] or [▼].
