pOWeR CONNeCtION AND StARtUp (see Figure 11 & 12)
POWER CONNECTION
CAUTION
• Ensure that ALL previous steps have been followed for installation of the faucet
and surface mount box and water is turned on.
• Ensure the water supply valves (PI5

1. Remove the spacer (PI2 ) installed in the already installed recessed box (PI1
(sold separately) and install the solenoid (N) and washers (P).
2. Install 8TR hardwire mounting plate (S) (with driver board (L) and hardwire
converter (M)) into the recessed box (PI1
3. Connect the 2 - 18AWG wires from the transformer (SO4
the screw terminals on the hardwire converter (M).
WARNING
• ONLY USE A CSA and/or UL approved Class 2 transformer or equivalent in a
convenient location or in a pipe chase. (DO NOT install the transformer inside the
control box.) Recommend Delta part numbers 060704A - 110 to 24 VAC 20VA
Transformer or 060771A - 110 to 24 VAC 40VA Transformer.
• DO NOT connect driver board power connector (L-2) and the hardwire converter
(M-1) until the faucet is fully installed and the water supply is connected and
pressurized.
NOTICE
• Polarity DOES NOT MATTER when connecting the wires from the transformer

(SO4 ) to the hardwire converter (M).
• The green LED light (M-2) on the hardwire converter (M) light up when powered
up.
4. Connect the 2 wires from the driver board (L-3) to the solenoid (N).
NOTICE The polarity marks are embossed on the white plastic body of the solenoid
(N).
a. The black wire from the driver board (L) is connected to the "-" negative
terminal on the solenoid.
b. The red wire from the driver board (L) is connected to the "+" positive
terminal on the solenoid (N).
5. Feed the sensor cable (L-1) from the driver board (L) through the wire way

(PI4 ) and connect it to the sensor cable (C).
6. Connect polymer braided hose (D) to the outlet connection from the recessed

box (PI1 ) (already installed).
STARTUP
CAUTION Before connecting the power - clean off the counter and remove all
objects from the sink (example - tools, garbage, glasses, etc...).
1. Turn "ON" the water supply valves (PI5
leaks.
2. Connect the cable from the hardwire converter (M-1) to the driver board
connector (L-2).
3. There will be 2 beeps from the driver board (L) indicating the faucet is ready for
use.

5. Install the 12" (305 mm) stainless steel cover (AD) over the opening of the
recessed box with Cover screws and driver bit for covers (AE) provided (see
figure 12).

aux bornes à vis du convertisseur filé (M).
AVERTISSEMENT
• UTILISEZ SEULEMENT un transformateur de classe 2 ou l'équivalent,
homologué CSA et/ou UL, dans un endroit pratique ou dans un passage de
tuyaux. (N'installez PAS le transformateur à l'intérieur du boîtier de commande.)
Nous recommandons les pièces Delta 060704A - Transformateur 20 VA de 110 à
24 VCA ou 060771A - Transformateur 40 VA de 110 à 24 VCA.
• NE branchez PAS le connecteur de la carte de commande (L-2) et le convertisseur filé (M-1) avant que le robinet soit complètement installé et que
l'alimentation en eau soit connectée et pressurisée.
