DAILY START UP OPERATIONS

Perform daily maintenance operations including:

If unit was solvent flushed prior to shutdown

Installation and Operation of Model 8900 VR
Check oil level in main air lubricator
Drain any water form filter in main air line
Tighten pump packing nuts daily for the first week; tighten weekly
thereafter.
Visually inspect system for leaks
Grease zerk fittings.
Turn air power to machine on.
Open meter outlet coupled ball valves
Open outlet and allow material to flow until a good mix is apparent.
Insure that base purge ball valve is closed and Meter Outlet Ball
Valves are OPEN.
If a Dynamic Mixer is used, start mixer air motor.
Open material outlet and start the system by pulling back knob out.
Allow unit to run until it has forced all of the base used to purge the
mixer from the unit.
