a)
Remove the spool valve and cone check assembly from the mixer.

actuator.
c)
Wipe the cone checks clean and hold two identical paper cups under the
two outlets in such a way as to insure catching all the material form each
outlet without contaminating the other.
d)
Activate the unit and collect, as nearly as possible, a full cup of the resin
and a proportionate amount of the catalyst.
e)
Weigh each component carefully remembering to subtract the weight of
the cup.
f)
Convert manufacturer's ratio to parts catalyst per 100 parts resin by
weight. Thus, 2:1 becomes 100:50.
g)
Divide catalyst weight by resin weight.
h)
Multiply the result of step f by 100. This product is the parts catalyst
dispensed by the machine per 100 parts resin by weight.
i)
Compare ratio obtained to ratio desired.
checks to insure accuracy at final set-up. The presence of any air in the
system will result in inaccurate ratio checks. If they cannot be made with
repetitive accuracy, review set up procedure.
j)
If the ratio is incorrect, turn the ratio adjustment screw/nut clockwise to
decrease the amount of catalyst material.
k)
Replace spool valve assembly and tighten wing bolt.
